  • Aye I'm almost (not quite) gutted that I got my cards pre-PCS upgrade service. Still, its an excellent offer!
Cheers for the rep :) I do hope so! Heading back home Wednesday next week, cant wait to get tinkering again.
To be honest I'm surprised too... Maybe I'm actually fibbing and its not the Antec one - In my order it was simple an "Intel Certified CPU Cooler". From memory I believe its the Antec one with "Intel" over the heatsink on the CPU. TBH I wish I'd realized how much Id want to change when I ordered it and I wouldn't have gotten an upgraded cooler (just installed my own). Doesn't matter now. Going to try and go push/pull with the H100 in the long run and have an attempt at overclocking :)

Yeah I received the cables before I went away, going to spend a day sorting them out when I get back (I'll take some before/after pics).
As far as I know the coolit II dual radiator should be similar to the h100 since coolit manufactures both but I am surprise you got a CPU cooler not offered in the configuration. I haven't seen any good reviews on the intel liquid cooler and it is a shame the dual radiator is not offered with the X79. Braided cables from corsair woud be awesome.
I'm currently using the Antec closed loop water-cooler as supplied by PCS but I am getting tempted to get a H100 (they look epic). The Cosmos II is excellent, you can swing several cats in it. I'm only wanting now to add a few fans/gaskets to the case (swap out some non-LED fans for switchable LED's) and do a bit of wire modding (getting some sleeved wires from bitfenix + the individually sleeved cables from Corsair for the powersupply).
    Hi Ruben,
Ah right, I read your post and thought I'd add my experience and was surprised when the page refreshed and displayed my post above yours!
I'm loving the PC so far, I've become slightly addicted to tweaking it recently which is a pain because I am currently offshore buying bits and pieces for it constantly! I haven't made any plans as such to run benchmarking programs but will certainly be willing to give it a shot once I get back.
Well there is probably a setting which means you can't post new messages more than once in 30 seconds, that'll be to stop spammers, and I suspect there's nothing you can do to get round that (except post slower - 30 secs isn't exactly a long time anyway)
The 3915 seconds I don't know, maybe an error, possibly since you tend to post often and quickly it put a temporary limit on your posting (thinking you were a spammer), but this is speculation at this point.
Done, you're lucky you sent that message before I started raiding on my MMO this evening :)

If I'm going to use my PC for gaming, I'm going to want to get an Intel CPU, yes?
But is it worth it than if I go with AMD my whole set up will be £4,300. Rather than with Intel, which will be £4,550. I don't really want to go over £4,300, but if it will change the performance by a lot, I probably will.
Lol, thanks for the rep :p

I am! I've memorised: "Swinton Technology is the leading global provider of oil and gas metering computers. Swinton technology also opened a new building on the 1st March 2012." It's not much, but i take a while to memorise stuff :(
Woahhh! Tri-sli 680's, that would be insane. I've heard good things about the GTX 690 and the ports on it would make it easier for 3 screens as it having 3x DVI and 1x Mini DP, even though it is around £850 XD What cooling system you got in your case?
